1. Statement of Work: Cobol/TELON IMS/DB2/CICS
Programmer/Analyst (4 positions needed)
Provide experienced programmer/Analyst with specific knowledge of
development on the OS390 using IMS and DB2 databases in a MVS and
CICS environment. Must also have experience with JCL on the OS390.
Experience developing and maintaining software used in the
merchandising area is a plus.
A minimum of 5 years programming/analysis experience with OS390
COBOL/TELON using IMS and DB2 databases in a MVS and CICS
environment; must be able to evaluate and write programming
specifications and create logical programming modifications and
solutions; must be able to build checkpoint restart logic with COBOL
and IMS. A minimum of 5 years programming experience in JCL and on
the OS390 executing jobs that run using the IMS, CICS and/or DB2
subsystems.
The window to have resumes submitted for this position is Wednesday,
the 14th. The position is in Dallas, TX.
2. Statement of Work: Post Production
Support of the Retek RMS application. Three (3) Positions.
Qualifications:
- Proven ability to Research and solve issues, deliver results in a
high-energy, fast-pace environment, rapidly learn new skills
- Ability to work with the company business, applications, and
technology teams to accomplish the above
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Understanding of the principles of retail industry is preferred
- Skills:
i. Required: Unix, PL*SQL, C, C++, Pro C, Window 95/NT,
Client/Server Development experience, TOAD, RMS, RPM
ii. Preferred: JAVA, ANT, CVS, DBMS, Oracle Forms
- Ability to possess a NAC or higher clearance. b. Deliverables:
- After hours and/or on call support for production environment
- Analyze data issues and determine how to repair data to fit the
RMS data model and support the company business.
- Triage bugs either in interfaces to legacy applications, Retek
base product, or custom company code and determine how to fix and
execute fixes
- Support the process for Retek specific batch programs and company
custom batch programs
- Document resolutions and help build a process for efficient
handling of post production support
